Synopsis/Details
David, who is seriously depressed by memories of his past, with considerable regret, sees a woman on a train.
He follows her and introduces himself to Abigail, who takes him home.
Abigail takes the precaution of showing him her pistol, to make sure he is not a danger to her. They form
a friendship and then, a relationship.
David tells this story to some people in a coffee shop, but a metaphysical dimension enters when it becomes
clear that the coffee shop is really an anteroom to death.
