Synopsis/Details
A failed comedian is doing his nightly work to a sum total of two passed out people when he is told by his biggest and only fan that he is losing his job. The club is shutting down and his world is ending. As it turns out, they are about to find out that the world is actually ending as well. They are suddenly two survivors in a post apocalyptic land. They try to find a friend to help them survive but the first person they are approached by is a psychopathic killer who takes offence at their living. The men are saved by a bad-ass ex-girlfriend who tells them where they need to go to escape the horrors. Information that they immediately ignore. They make their way along, meeting some new friends and some old enemies. While trying to find somewhere to safely live, they are attacked by a cannibal and then they find the fan's mother who is dying and tells him that the failed comedian is not actually the fan's father. A surprise for the fan, but not so much of a surprise for the comedian as he can't have children. During their escape, they come across the comedian's ex-wife who is actually trying to steal from them. Good vs Evil comes to a head as the army retakes control of the city and they are all arrested for crimes.

The Writer: Sarah Cork

I am a writer who has written several short stories and books. I have also been writing a lot of scripts for a while but having trouble breaking into the industry, partly due to not knowing anyone and also due to the fact that I am not anything special. I like to write comedies, both movies and TV series. I really like Monty Python and British style comedy so I do try to emulate that. Go to bio
