U-4

In the Aftermath of Police Raid on a Toronto Low-Income housing community known as the "Three Bricks", a young man going by the nickname "Beanie" joins the now struggling, rag-tag, on the invitation of the soon to Arrive from out of town Gang Leader "Murda". But, things go wrong, as Beanie's Brother Alex goes missing, along with the drugs that Beanie has been tasked to sell, with the help of his Cousin and Friend Aniline, Beanie goes on the search for his missing brother and begins to uncover some sort of government operation. Unable to find his missing, Beanie goes back to the Gang with the News of the missing drugs and ends up being taken to Murda. Murda is extremely forgiving, going as far as to take Beanie under his wing for a Job and giving him his first Gun, telling him to meet for the Job the next day. Beanie follows along with the Job, but finds himself in over his head as him and Murda kidnap a Police officer doing a drug deal, hand him over to shady Government agents working out of the University, and are given the new drug the cop was trying to deal in. The new experimental drug goes by the name U-4, and is mind altering drug that makes the user extremely susceptible to the influence of others. It is essentially a mind control drug. Murda convinces Beanie to try U-4 himself, showing him that by playing motivational recordings while using the drug you can use it to make yourself mentally stronger. But, in this state, Beanie ends up getting caught by his own Mom with a gun in hand, and the lecture by his Mom, mixed with the influence of the drugs, convinces him to reconsider joining the Gang in the first place. When Beanie Brings this News to Murda though, he becomes livid, going on a hunt for Beanie. High of U-4, Murda Kidnaps Beanie out of Aniline's house, killing her in the process, and attempts to take him to the Agents at the University to have him taken out. At the University, things don't go well, as Murda is not given access inside. In his anger he goes on a rampage, hunting down Beanie in a chase through the Facility. In this chase, Murda get's killed, and Beanie, after finding out his Brother was kidnapped to be a test subject for U-4, is kidnapped by the Government Agents. Beanie is put under the influence of U-4, and ends up being there most positive test subject. Murda is post-humorously framed for all crimes that happened. In the end, it seems Beanie has been completely brainwashed by the Government Agency, but, in the last scene, we see that Beanie managed to keep the motivational recording given to him by Murda, and is actually in full control.
