Synopsis/Details
“We are introduced to Private Harper as he enters a derelict space as the wider picture (of the country teetering on the brink of civil war) is relayed via a radio broadcast. A light continues to flicker. As Harper creates quiet in the room, he becomes aware of a sound that is identified as a groan. Spotting a pile of boxes, he removes them and finds a badly injured but obviously very beautiful female (soldier?) who he quickly identifies as from the ‘other side’. His guard is up. What follows is a tense, emotional and surprisingly playful encounter where Grace begs Harper to put her out of her misery, and their motivations are explored. Then, a radio crackles, bringing both back to their senses, everything becomes clear... and there’s no going back...”

The Writer: Lanre Ajayi

I am in IT by profession, and writer by passion. I predominantly write short stories and short scripts, though I plan to venture into longer form when I find (or make) an opportunity. My initial genre of choice was thriller and drama, but in more recent years I have penned a few dark comedies, namely 'Get In, Get Done, Get Out' which is currently being pre-produced as a short film. I’ll be enjoying reading scripts on here and look forward to communicating with people (writers/reviewers/film-makers, etc)… Go to bio
