Synopsis/Details:

The disease seems to be spreading fast. More and more people are getting infected.
Nine-year-old Todd has been showing strange behaviors since birth, and has destructive powers and super-human abilities. He lives with his father, Alex, and Emma, his beautiful live-In nanny and home teacher, with whom his father is infatuated. Having seen the strange occurrences in his house throughout the years, Alex assumes they might be living in a haunted house, and his son's behavior has something to do with that. So, hoping the bizarre occurrences will stop, Alex changes his son's living environment completely. He rents a villa in a different state far away, and everyone agrees to drive to their new house instead of flying.
The trio starts driving cross country. One night, an alien-looking object crashes into the motel the three are staying at for the night. They quickly escape and continue their journey. But suddenly, government agents stop them on the road a few hours later. The Agents think the aliens plan to destroy the earth, and Todd or his father assists them. The lead investigator wants to take Todd, Alex, and Emma to a secret research facility to extract information about the alien’s plan so the government can take measures accordingly. The lead investigator tries to take Todd’s favorite toy from him (a strange metal ball he calls the orb and carries around always) at some point.
But Todd resists, gets nervous, and uses his powers to prevent his orb from being taken. But Todd passes out, and this allows the agents to apprehend and transfer the three to the research facility.
Todd is unconscious and under strict medical observation. Emma is in a separate room. Alex is being questioned in the interrogation room, while observed by several high-ranking government officials. Denying any connection with the aliens, Alex tells his boy's story and convinces the agents he was not aware of extraterrestrials and what has been happening. Agents reveal their findings, and Alex and Emma discover that extraterrestrials have been in contact with Todd for a long time. Agents accommodate Alex and Emma in their guest room until Todd wakes up.
Todd wakes up cuffed to the bed. Controlled by the aliens, Todd frees himself, overpowers the security, and joins the officials. Using Todd’s voice, the aliens declare that they are not the enemy and have no plan of destroying the earth. But the disease is spreading rapidly and will wipe out all life forms on the planet within the next 50 days. That they have been conducting research and experimentations on humans for a long time, trying to create new hybrids. That Todd is a second-generation hybrid, his mother was first-generation and not entirely human. That they have recently noticed Todd's presence can cure the disease that has infected some of their hybrids. They admit they want to take Todd to cure their contaminated hybrids using the vessel that the humans call the crashed objects.
The aliens finish their statements, and the officials know they must obtain permission from the president to keep Todd to save lives on earth and use force against the aliens if they have to.
It is time for the aliens to take Todd. The vessel levitates and moves from the motel toward the research facility. It reaches the facility. Armed forces attack it to prevent the aliens from taking Todd. Todd, who has now realized the situation decides to remain on the earth. He helps the human army by utilizing his powers. But the aliens threaten to kill everybody if Todd resists further.
The humans lose the battle. To prevent more casualties, Todd makes a deal with the aliens. He will go with them, help cure the hybrids, and in return the aliens will bring him back to the earth one day. So, Todd says goodbye to his father and Emma in an emotional scene, but before leaving, Todd transfers some of his energy to his orb and gives it to his father and Emma and tells them it can help cure the disease and save people. He also orders the officials to clean up the pollution and keep the planet clean. Todd enters the vessel and leaves.

The Writer: Behnam Gilani

Born on February 4th, 1971. My first brush with the film and television industry took place during my formative teenage years. Filled by a burning desire to learn more about the intricacies of the movie business, I spent most of my summer vacations in the technical rooms of the National Iranian Television where a number of my favorite elder cousins used to work. And, when my mom landed a minor role in an experimental Tele-film, the passion for acting as well began to take hold. At the age of 21, I moved to Dubai, United Arab Emirates where I met Mr. Nicanor A.
