Boxed into a locked bathroom, Alice and Rob hear heavy footfalls approach. Rob retreats to a corner, tearfully awaiting their fate, while Alice raises a butcher's knife. Alice kills their would-be assailant, saving saves herself and her friend. But in the aftermath Alice's life falls apart as she obsesses about that fateful moment. She savors memories of repeatedly bringing down her blade. A few weeks later, Rob visits Alice's apartment to check on her. She's still a mess, but now sees Rob as an opportunity for another fix ...
