VERDANT

Set in the future, climate change has risen to the point where humans are almost extinct and most of the world has descended into a sultry swampland only inhabitable for reptiles. Because of this, a mysterious reptile alien race known as the Verdants have since colonised the planet perpetuating the whole swamp existence. Surviving humans are forced to take shelter in caves, living as nomads but are quickly becoming obsolete. Brilliant anthropology Professor Kavanagh and his wife struggle to rouse the remaining humans to flee to a cooler climate but is anywhere safe from their Verdant colonisers and the ever expanding swampland?
