Synopsis/Details: 

“Within” is an action, fantasy series and an original take on the werewolf mythology, as the main characters are successful and multilayered women of color. A formula that has never been attempted on TV. The story is about Serene Davis, an idealistic attorney who moves to Atlanta to begin a new career at a multinational company as in-house counsel. Serene must navigate corporate America as an attorney in the “all boys club”, learn to overcome her urges and conquer the fear of her sexuality, which has led to disastrous consequences in the past. “Within” is an origin story, not only for Serene, who must learn to control her urges to save those around her, but the supporting cast, who’s mysterious pasts will aid Serene in her journey and bring depth to the series. Serene will face not only her personal demons to become who she is destined be, butalso powerful villains who seek to destroy her.

Hank Byrd, writer of the sci-fi screenplay “Dinner with Harry”, was born April 16, 1972 in Augusta, Georgia. “Dinner with Harry” won the Bare Bones International Film Festival Best Live Screenplay Reading honor in 2010.
