Synopsis/Details
Hannah Davis was 3 years-old when her parents were brutally murdered in their home. Now, at age 23, Hannah has returned to attend college and, while it seems strange to others, she moves back into the same house. Hannah feels like the home is the only part of her family she has left. Her best friend, Ethan, is thrilled that she has transferred to the same college, McDougall, for her final year. They’ll even be taking classes together, including a religious studies class taught by Professor Tyborne and the subject for this semester is the “Mysteries of the Zohar.” Professor Tyborne wants his students to pair up and study the subject of Lillith, who supposedly pre-dates Eve as the first ever woman. There’s even a group in town which worships Lillith – the “Keepers of Eden” (KOE) and Professor Tyborne encourages Hannah to attend one of their meetings. Meanwhile, Hannah keeps running into locals who offer mixed information about what happened to her parents. After becoming romantically involved with her cop neighbor, John, Hannah asks him to dig up the old police file. Before long, however, she learns that her mom and dad were murdered by Keepers of Eden, because they believed Hannah’s mom was a descendant of Lillith and that means Hannah is too. Now, they want to kill Hannah as a sacrifice so that the “Goddess may return.”
