Synopsis/Details
In a sleepy rural village, Ted, an enthusiastic model train collector in his late sixties decides to spend all of his saving on a rare model train; unbeknown to his uptight and dominating wife, Penny. On the day of the delivery, Ted is horrified to learn that it is also the day of the dreaded flower show, the one day a year he is forced to spend with his wife. Ted decides to rebel, and on route to the flower show, takes a detour to collect his train. Arriving at the local village, the car engine fails and a horde of zombie townsfolk surround the car. Trapped in the car, Penny finds out that Ted has used their savings on a train and hits the roof. Zombies forgotten, twenty two years of marital frustrations come flying out. With nowhere to go, the couple are forced to confront their relationship problems, battle their own pride and selfishness and then take on a small horde of flesh hungry zombies intent on devouring them. After Penny delivers some hard truths, Ted finally see’s that his hobby has grown into a full blown obsessions, causing him to neglect his wife. In admitting his faults he decides to take on the zombies using objects from inside the car. Ted manages to fend off the zombies with help from Penny and the two manage to get both their car and their marriage back on the road again.
