William Holmgren is a screenwriter from Kirkland, Washington. He graduated from Seattle Pacific University with a focus on art and a passion for storytelling, inspired by classic movies and TV shows of the 1970s & 1980s.
William is best known for his award-winning script "Flamingo Grove," inspired by the war stories of his father, a Vietnam combat veteran, and his grandfather, a World War II combat veteran.
He co-authored the award-winning script "The Mona Lisa" (2020) and, in 2024, published a book based on his original treatment of the project, "Behind Her Smile: The Untold Love Story of Leonardo and Lisa. "
He lives in the Columbia Valley of Washington State with his family and their dog, Indigo.
