Synopsis/Details
In real life heroes don’t wear capes; they wear sports jerseys. Thousands of people gather
to watch the Pros do their thing, but what if those skills were nurtured for a greater
purpose? “4 Corners” is a superhero show that brings realism back to the screen in terms
of who our heroes truly are – but with a twist; they are gathered and led by a cell phone
company…
In the pilot episode we meet our four protagonists; an ice hockey player, a soccer star, a
sprinter and a gaming colossus. They are delivered their new phones and upon opening
them they are transported to a cabin in a secret location. Here they get to know one
another over time, but in this episode they face their first mission; to save a Moroccan
Princess. With their sports skills enhanced, they use their new powers to save the
Princess. Their joys however don’t come without cost; using their powers as superheroes
means that they don’t do as well in their “day job” sports.
Over season one the heroes must try and balance their lives between their sports duties,
their families and their new superhero responsibilities. They also have the desire to find
out who’s leading them; as no one has heard anything directly from the phone company
– it seems that they are being led by artificial intelligence. AI is trying to build a better
world.
