First class! 4 quadrant movie, non-stop action on every page! Passion for the arena is clear throughout. Super high concept, very expensive. Writer would do well to write the graphic novel as there is no existing IP. Financially viable project suitable for series on Netflex or Amazon studios.
FW Gerhardt, producer, screenwriter

The writer shows some nice creativity in this piece. The details of the world that is created are well developed and specific. Fast paced and suspenseful with great action sequences and visuals. Satisfying and high-paced – well done. Sometimes it moved a bit too quick with no time to breathe. The writer has a pretty decent grasp of the three-act structure. The act breaks are well formed, particularly the end of act two when Shatar kidnaps the heroes and steals the Starstone. All visuals and storytelling from the arena doing fights with different creatures and monsters were very entertaining. Strong conflict that keeps us engaged. An ending that creates buzz!
Paige Cat Smith, Screenwriter
This script starts so strong, right in the middle of the action. Those first few pages really draw the audience in and get them hooked right off the bat. Choosing to start in media res also demonstrates for the audience that you trust them to be able to follow your story.
Following that strong opening scene, there is a great balance between action scenes and other moments. We are on the edge of our seat but still able to catch our breath. There are some very good action sequences as well.
On a similar note, every scene is full of really good information and has great pacing. Every single scene moves the story forward so nothing feels out of place. There is not a wasted moment in the script, which can be a really tricky thing to pull off.
There is a great amount of franchise potential as you continue to explore this world. This isn’t only a great place to be as a storyteller but it also put you in a good position to get your film made. Most of what gets made nowadays is a spinoff, a sequel, or otherwise based on some existing IP so if companies can see a future for these characters or this world, I think it’ll set you up for success.
Your attention to detail is really impressive. I noticed it in both of the scripts I’ve read from you but you leave no stone unturned. As soon as a question would come up in regards to the rules of this universe, you had an answer locked and loaded. You have a really solid hold on this genre and I look forward to reading more from you in the future.
