Synopsis/Details
This is an interesting science fiction screenplay about a man named Edward who discovers an artifact and later meets a holographic projection interface named Athena. Athena is an artificial intelligence system that is controlling miniature machines that Edward saw under the microscope. Athena reveals to Edward that the year is not 1874 but actually 4147 and that humanity was once a thriving technologically advanced civilization with large cities on every continent. However, a catastrophic nuclear war devastated the planet and led to the deaths of most people. Athena was created to preserve humanity and keep the remaining humans safe. Athena now needs Edward's help because her fusion reactor has failed, and she needs to make an important decision. Edward, who is an archaeologist, is not knowledgeable about technology, but Athena believes that he is someone of integrity and wisdom, which is why she seeks his help.
