Synopsis/Details
ARTHUR PEN (13), an unhappy, displaced student from England finds himself in a drab Las Vegas middle school, and immediately makes an enemy of the class bully, LEVON (14). He trips up the bully harassing a younger boy, and flees on his bike. Levon and his friends give chase.
Arthur flies over a huge jump in a dry riverbed through a time whorl, and tumbles down a grassy slope in medieval England. The thugs lose him when the helix slams shut.
Arthur rolls to a stop before MERLIN THE MAGICIAN (60s), who tells the disbelieving lad he is, in fact, King Arthur Pendragon.
Merlin and EGON (40s), an obnoxious dwarf, teach Arthur the arts of personal conduct and weapons handling, after which, Arthur draws Excalibur from an anvil in front of a large crowd, and leads everyone on a rollicking odyssey to Camelot where he must defend the castle from pidgin German speaking VANDAL HORDES.
Upon arrival, the invaders litter the beaches with fast food cartons and drink containers (what else would you expect from Vandals?).
Arthur learns on the job how to be a king and how to handle the ruffians who chased him through the time warp.
His mentors from the past follow him to the present to watch over their “little king.”
