Synopsis/Details
In a small, isolated town in the hills of West Virginia, Eddie, a wildlife photographer, becomes the victim of a brutal crime orchestrated by corrupt law enforcement and their accomplices. His life is violently taken, and his body buried deep in the woods, leaving his loved ones in the dark about his fate. Allen, Eddie's devoted husband, arrives in the town, desperate to find answers about Eddie's sudden disappearance. As he navigates the town’s cold and secretive community, he begins to uncover the sinister truths hidden beneath its seemingly quiet surface. The corrupt cop, Jeff, and his cohorts try to cover their tracks, but they are soon haunted by strange, supernatural occurrences that suggest Eddie's spirit is far from at rest. Eddie’s ghostly presence grows stronger, tormenting those responsible for his death. As the tension escalates, Allen's investigation leads him to the heart of the town’s corruption, forcing a confrontation with the very men who took Eddie's life. In a climactic struggle between the living and the dead, the town is forced to reckon with its sins, as Eddie’s spirit exacts his revenge, bringing justice to those who wronged him. In the end, Allen finds closure as Eddie's spirit finally finds peace, leaving the town forever changed by the dark secrets that were once buried, but are now laid bare.
