Synopsis/Details
First act:
Ron Bath was an all-American football player at the University of Maryland, but after an injury, he fell into depression and alcohol abuse. After quitting school, he decided to move across the country to Los Angeles to find a new path. While still trying to raise money for his five-year-old daughter and bitter baby mamma, Ron has promised himself not to fall back into drinking. He’s been desperate for work after only living in Los Angeles for a month, but the one job he is not looking for is being a bouncer. The easy access to alcohol and his past issues make it way too easy to fall back to where he was.
Ron turns down an open invitation to be a bouncer at a nightclub in Hollywood from the GM who’s also a former football alum. But after being threatened by his baby mamma that if he doesn’t start taking things seriously, they will be gone from his life, Ron decides to take the job.
Second act:
Lusine is turning eighteen, and her three girlfriends have scored her a fake ID. She’s lived in LA her whole life, but her home life is shit. Her father left their family when she was ten and won’t speak to them. Her mom is never around and has always had many strange men she’s brought home. Despite her lack of parental guidance, Lusine has a high GPA and has been accepted to UCLA. She’s a good girl and is usually very boring, but because it is her eighteenth birthday her friends have promised her a night she’ll never forget.
Ron works his post as a bouncer but doesn’t notice that the vampire regulars are turning other humans into vampires around him. When Ron sees that Lusine is in trouble he steps in and stops the problem, against the other vampire bouncer’s orders. Now Ron is exposed to what these people really are, and Ron and Lusine try to escape the bar, but soon get separated and Ron must decide whether to save himself or go back for the girl.
Third act:
After handling the club goers pretty easily and saving Lusine, Ron now must face the vampire bouncers and the head GM vampire in an old-school bruiser fight finale.
