Synopsis/Details
Late one night under the great clock of Glasgow Central Station, David waits anxiously for a blind date who never arrives. Just as he begins to lose hope, he strikes up a conversation with Kate, a free-spirited backpacker passing through. Their playful connection grows, and when David finally decides his date isn’t coming, he follows Kate out into the city. Moments later, Emma — the woman he was meant to meet — rushes in, breathless and late, only to catch sight of David disappearing with Kate. Her relief turns to heartbreak in an instant. Left stranded, she crosses paths with Owen, a young art student who has also been stood up. At first wary, Emma warms to his quiet charm, and together they salvage something from the night. Central is a tender story of missed opportunities, fleeting encounters, and the serendipity of finding connection when and where you least expect it.
