Synopsis/Details
After a string of death-defying stunts, SAM, a thrill-seeking adrenaline junkie, has vanished during her latest escapade in the remote Scottish Highlands. Her last cryptic video, sent to her boyfriend PIERCE, hinted at something sinister chasing her in the wilderness. With the local police investigation falling short and time running out, Pierce is determined to find her and uncovers a deeper mystery. Desperate, Pierce enlists CHARLIE, an experienced hiker and tracker, to help with the search. Their journey leads them to the desolate and eerie area known as Devil’s Point, a notorious hunting ground steeped in local legends. The pair is guided by ANGUS, a suspicious gamekeeper and tour guide, whose cryptic knowledge of the land raises more questions than answers. As they venture deeper into the rugged terrain, Pierce's worst nightmares begin to materialize. Strange apparitions and ferocious creatures, known as Moon Monsters, stalk them through the misty forests and jagged cliffs. These shapeshifting monsters, revealed to be bound to the lunar cycle, dwell in the shadows and are believed to trap the souls of their victims. Pierce’s world is shattered when he discovers that Sam has been transformed into one of these creatures. In his obsession to save her, Pierce becomes entangled in the supernatural horrors of Devil’s Point. As the moon rises, Pierce faces a final choice: escape with his life or succumb to the curse. In the end, he surrenders to the darkness, reuniting with Sam in her monstrous form, both of them bound forever to the haunted wilderness of the Highlands.
