Synopsis/Details
A wild and bloodied ADAM hunts JANE through the wilderness.
The two are ex-lovers.
Adam’s pursuit of Jane across a river, over a mountain and through a gorge, is punctuated by a series of flashbacks that show Jane’s earlier attempts to escape their estranged, violent relationship, and the bloody episode that led them out here.
Adam catches up with Jane and they face off at a gorge, the chasm of the title.
There, Jane finally realises that Adam will never stop, never give up, and she decides she must kill him.
She arms herself and waits for him at the edge of the lake where they used to camp.
