Abigail is an ambitious young woman looking to make her mark in the hospitality industry. After a relentless search, she stumbles upon a once-grand but neglected Victorian mansion—Winthorpe House—listed at a price too good to be true. Excited about her new venture, she purchases the property with dreams of turning it into a charming Airbnb destination.
To renovate the house, Abigail hires Che, a charismatic and skilled online builder. The two bonds over their shared vision, and Che eagerly begins the renovations. As the walls are torn down and rooms are remodelled in a sleek, modern style, they unexpectedly discover a hidden safe room, which they are unable to open, much to their frustration.
Ignoring the safe room for now, they prepare for the grand opening of Winthorpe House. The day arrives, and Abigail is thrilled to welcome her first guest—Frances, an enigmatic local musician performing at a nearby bar. However, it isn’t long before panic ensues: Frances goes missing within hours of checking in. Concerned, Abigail contacts the authorities but is unable to provide any clues as to Frances’ whereabouts.
A Day later, the property reluctantly welcomes its next guests, a posh couple named The Coles. Unfortunately, they too vanish without a trace. Amidst the mounting tension, the door to the safe room opens inexplicably, drawing Abigail's curiosity. As she steps inside to investigate, the door slams shut behind her, trapping her within the confines of an eerily room. Inside, she finds Frances, who is disoriented and has no memory of how she arrived. They frantically search for an escape but soon discover that The Coles have joined them in the room, each as bewildered as the last.
