Synopsis/Details
Boone Murdoch, an uneducated transplant from Kentucky, is struggling to make a living in 1850's San Francisco. Putting aside their own misgivings, Boone and his no-nonsense cousin, Jane, sign up to be part of Colonel William Walker's "divine mission" to make Nicaragua an English-speaking American colony in the 1850's. Walker, a smooth talker convinced that he has been chosen by God as the point man for America's Manifest Destiny movement, assembles a rag tag group of failed prospectors, ne'er-do-wells, and adventurist to be his army. With help from an unexpected source in Cornelius Vanderbilt, the world's richest man and a power broker in Nicaragua, Walker is able to overthrow the Nicaraguan president with limited opposition. It is only when Walker comes to power that Boone slowly comes to realize he has been used by Walker to advance his own personal agenda. Boone's relationship with his cousin and best friend, Jane, is taxed to the limit as he struggles to come to terms to with what Walker is doing to the Nicaraguan people and their country he claims to care about. Patriotic to his core, Boone must ultimately decide if his support of one man is best for the country he loves.

She demands a walk every night and they kept running into this guy walking his rescue mutt. While the dogs sniffed and woofed, Scott and this guy would chat. Turns out the Mutt Master is a pretty decent screenwriter (with several contest awards as proof). He invited Scott to join a screenwriting group that meets once a week at a coffee shop in Mesa, Arizona. The quality… Go to bio
