Synopsis/Details
By produced writer (10 features) and published novelist/ghostwriter (21 books). Micro-budget, one-location crime/mystery/thriller. FINALIST - LA CRIME AND HORROR FILM FESTIVAL. From the Blacklist: "filthy, sexy, fun time...with high-octane action and sexual tension...unique and entertaining tone that should entice fans of the genre." JAY MATULSKI, 35--huge, stupid and dangerous--drags ALAN JEFFRIES, 35--smart and just as deadly--into Jay's trailer in a low-end trailer park. "You kidnapped the wrong guy," Jay's girlfriend, KRISTA KELLOGG, 25, informs Jay. Jay intended to nab Roy Neames, son of wealthy businessman Max Neames. With no use for Alan, Jay prepares to kill him. Alan pleads for his life, convincing Jay and Krista that kidnapping Roy Neames wasn't a good idea to begin with. When Max Neames' other son, Howard, was kidnapped, Alan tells them, Max hired a commando to rescue Howard. A better plan, Alan insists, is to steal the millions Max Neames has hidden in his vacation cabin. Armed with Alan's information, Jay sets out to steal the money, leaving Alan and Krista behind... ...to make love. They're working their own scheme: setting up Max Neames and Jay to kill each other so Alan--who actually is Roy Neames--can inherit his father's money. FERNANDO ROJAS, 40, a cop, Jay's partner-shows up, threatening to blow the whole deal. Alan--revealing skills of a highly trained commando--kills Fernando and rolls him under the trailer...next to a shovel and a couple of fresh grave-mounds. Back inside, Alan and Krista's trust is strained: Krista never mentioned Jay was a police officer, and both Alan and Krista suspect each other of secretly making phone calls. Their partnership threatens to crack completely when Krista admits she truly loves Jay. But she assures Alan that love won't stop her from proceeding with Jay's murder, and running off with Alan and the money. Alan seriously reconsiders his relationship with Krista...when--- Max Neames and his son Howard show up, and Krista realizes it's all been a setup. The Neames cooked up their own plot--aiming to recover the half-million they never got back when Howard was kidnapped. Jay arrives, too--guns blazing--escaped from the Neames' trap at the cabin. Outgunned, Jay loses the trailer-park gun-battle. Injured and defeated, Jay admits to Krista that the money is buried under the trailer. Krista calls Jay "a great big stupid dumb-ass pile of festering horse-shit." Jay's excuse: he feared that if Krista had money, she would lose interest in him. He worried that if they weren't scheming together, their intense bond would soon break. Krista--realizing Jay isn't as dumb as he looks--still loves him, and doesn't complain too loudly when she and Jay are exiled with empty hands. At gunpoint, they haul the trailer away--never to be seen again--so Max and his two sons can dig up the half-million dollars buried underneath...so they think...
