Their forced alliance turns to competition, then sabotage, until their rich, eccentric editor demands cooperation. Under a shaky truce, the two fall in love all over again. The case leads Tate and Jensen through a Hollywood funhouse of greed, lust, ego, and jealousy. In a final showdown with the suspects at the mansion, Tate and Jensen team their skills to trap the unexpected murderer.
