Synopsis/Details
It's time to take #metoo to the next, deeper level. Most sexual assualts occur under the age of twelve, and most often perpetrated by a family member or close family friend. While Hollywood has had a love affair with personality disorders (ie Fight Club), the truth is Disociative Identity Disorder is caused by recurring childhood sexual assualt. Often, a person only starts to deal with and heal from the trauma when they are middle aged, and are in a safe place...ready to start the healing journey. With EVAN, five people enter the healing journey, and they reconcile into one. This is not an easy story, but it's time we as a collective start telling the truth about this darkest aspect of the human experience.

The Writer: Sarah Gabrielle Baron

Sarah has a deeply spiritual relationship with nature. Forays into Hinduism, Taoist Buddhism, New Age, Christianity, Islam, Rastafarianism, and Wicca have all complemented her lifelong friendship with Indigenous culture, particularly Anishinabek Nation where she lives in Northern Ontario. Sarah has recently received some flack for making that description. Sarah by no means is saying these cultures are her own. No! By "foray" Sarah means that she has delved deeply into these various aspects of our human spiritual heritage, those listed and many more, and that influences her creative work.
