Synopsis/Details
When his cancer-afflicted wife needs a very expensive drug, Sid, an elderly, indigent Jewish man robs a bank. Chased by the FBI and a loan shark, he holes up with his wife in a Miami hotel. There, he befriends a wealthy, violin-aficionado who offers to help him financially. But, when Sid realizes that his benefactor is an Arab sheik, his relationship morphs into an emotional, cultural and religious confrontation until he is able to liberate himself from his prejudices and accept the sheik’s sincere friendship.
