MARK and DANIELLE, a couple navigating the complexities of adoption and career aspirations, are thrust into chaos when alternate versions of themselves invade their home. What begins as a normal night escalates into a harrowing ordeal as they confront doppelgängers from parallel universes. Struggling to distinguish friend from foe, they uncover the existence of a portal connecting these worlds, opened by an alternate version of themselves. Fighting for survival, Mark and Danielle face moral dilemmas as the lines between their identities and those of their counterparts blur. When they cross into a seemingly identical universe, they find a young girl who believes them to be her parents. However, a fatal accident with the home’s real owner forces them into a dark decision: to protect themselves and take over this alternate life. Wrestling with the justification of their actions, they cling to the belief that they are the “good people” amid the chaos of the multiverse. Themes: Identity, morality, survival, and the consequences of tampering with the unknown.
