Courtney sits alone at a table in a small brunch restaurant as she anxiously waits for Jason. When he arrives, she is so excited to finally meet him! He apologizes for being late but informs her that he can’t stay long so he gets right down to business. Jason informs Courtney that she must change her approach toward social media stardom if she wants to start seeing results. He suggests she copy the likes of @SindyWithAn_S. Courtney is hesitant so Jason invites her to Sindy’s 100-million followers milestone party to meet her and other social media celebrities. Courtney agrees to go. Later in the week, Courtney is laying on a bed in a small dorm room with Tyler, who is painting. He is annoyed that she is not helping him with the school project. He teases her for always being on her social media accounts instead of pursing her natural gift for painting. Having had enough of Tyler’s teasing, Courtney finally gets off from her phone and up to help Tyler with the painting. She invites him to go with her to the party and he hesitantly agrees. At the party, Courtney shows up noticeably less fashionable than the rest of the people there, despite attempting to conform. When she sees Jason talking to another girl, she leaves Tyler in the dust to go talk to him. When she approaches him, she finds that he is with Sindy and finally meets her. Meanwhile, Tyler scouts the party looking for beer. He meets some eccentric characters and knows he doesn’t fit in. In the kitchen, he runs into a drug dealer that is out of his mind. Tyler is shocked by his behavior and runs to get Courtney. When he approaches Courtney, she doesn’t understand why he is so distraught. He causes a bit of a scene and she is embarrassed. Out of anger, she yells at him to leave and she walks away, leaving him heartbroken. Later in the party, Courtney comes out of the bathroom and drunkenly stumbles down the hallway. Jason and Sindy come walking towards her. When he sees Courtney, he stops to invite her to do drugs with them in the bathroom. She accepts the invitations, despite being almost incoherent. Off screen: They go into the bathroom and snort lines of cocaine and the three begin to become intimate.
