Synopsis/Details
Kyle discovers that Outdoor Man is in financial crisis while eavesdropping on Mike and Ed’s conversation. He offers Mike a foolproof business plan to save the day. Ed is intrigued. Mike is skeptical.
Later that night at dinnertime, Mike attempts to stuff his feelings by devouring Vanessa’s delicious home-baked apple pie. A heart-to-heart with Vanessa reveals that she has been getting an overabundance of beauty sleep due to Mike’s lack of interest in the bedroom arena as of late. Mike decides that he needs to shower her with the good loving only he can provide. Vanessa puts on her sexy lingerie. She waits for him but he doesn’t show up. Vanessa goes looking for Mike and finds him asleep with his face down in the empty apple pie dish.
Mike picks Mandy’s brain about Kyle’s business venture. He almost falls out of his chair when Mandy nonchalantly reveals that Kyle will easily rake in over a million dollars in sales by the end of the year. Eve decides to throw caution to the wind and puts a delay on sibling rivalry. She chums up to Mandy as soon as she hears that Kyle is in the money, so she can put in a bid for the Hummer with the camouflage paint job that she’s had her eye on.
The next morning, Mike is bright and chipper, and looks like he has lost ten pounds. Vanessa is impressed, but while caressing his firm butt, she begins to suspect that Mike might be wearing her Spanx in an attempt to trim his inflating waistline. When Vanessa questions him, Mike says, “Why would I lie about a thing like that?”
Mike gets to work and is eager to talk to Kyle again, having realized that he probably didn’t give him the credit he deserves for his business plan. Kyle presents Mike with an envelope and asks him to open it after he leaves. Mike finds a check for one million dollars to save Outdoor Man. A very touching letter from Kyle reveals that he has finally decided to man up and leave his dream job at Outdoor Man. Now, Mike is left holding the dirty end of the stick and he doesn’t know what to do.
