Synopsis/Details
A delinquent teenager in the wrong place at the wrong time witnesses a murder with her two friends then gets seen by the killers. Confounding matters is the fact that the criminal mastermind is a mafia boss who was publicly seen by the whole world on TV to have died in a fiery plane crash days earlier. The man the teenage girls saw being killed was a recently abducted federal witness snatched in a bloody heist from the FBI by criminal mastermind's goons. The man was a star witness against criminal mastermind and his organization. Now the chase is on! Our delinquent teenager is being hunted by the police for murders and kidnappings she never did and by the criminals who are responsible. The killers are dropping bodies to get hold of her and her friends as well as the camcorder the girls used to video tape the murder of the federal witness. Upping the ante the killers get hold of the teenager's family, threatening to kill them unless she complies to their demands within next to no time. *********************************************************************************************************************************** Originally titled "CHASED" (it might revert): Lucked Out is an action-thriller that would (in an ideal world) be the perfect vehicle for an up-and-coming, young female star or the springboard for a complete unknown waiting to be discovered. The action here is not over-the-top hollywoodesque but more like stretching-the-boundaries-of-plausibility as in the Bourne film series, Taken (the original) and Point Blank – or at least that was the aim. And YES the action does exist as an integral part of the story as opposed to merely being to mindlessly thrill.

The Writer: Ba Kiwanuka

My writing career has spluttered on and off since my days in secondary school. However once I embraced the internet (I hail from Uganda, East Africa so this wasn't that way way back) it kicked into high gear. Originally I was writing for websites and blogs until one day a friend suggested that since I like movies so much why not write screenplays. The idea took root and I started writing scripts for people on freelancer sites. After I got a number of pretty good reviews from satisfied customers I thought to myself why not aim for the big leagues. Yup! That's a whole different ballgame and I'm still learning the ropes. But as they say writing is 90% rewriting and practice makes perfect so… Go to bio
