This is a short seventeen page excerpt where our family of spiders and one ant take refuge from a snowstorm in a bug hotel. What they don't realise is, unlike human hotels where the penthouse suite is usually on the top floor, this bug hotel has the penthouse suite on the lowest floor. This is for good reason. This bug hotel is just a pile of firewood. Unknowing and accepting of the penthouse suite, our spider family are about to be burnt alive.
