Synopsis/Details
The Dupre sisters, Marilise and Leigh Ann, 20s, who inhabit an old house in the Hamptons, have fallen on hard financial times. They are lesbians, profess their love for each other. They are invited to a garden party by an older, well-heeled lesbian woman, Alisa, who has taken a fancy to Marilise and offers to help her financially. This causes friction and jealousy between Marilise and her sister. On a picnic with the older woman, Marilise attempts to break off the relationship, and flees. Alisa, in bicycle pursuit of Marilise, is hit by a truck and killed. (This is essentially identical to the first 30 pages of the longer script.)
