Synopsis/Details
A Mafia wiseguy named Romeo is sent to the amusement pier in Seaside Heights on the New Jersey shore with a satchel containing $250,000 ("250 large"), with instructions from his mob boss to make the drop at a gypsy fortune teller's booth, in order to make a drug buy. He makes the drop, but catches sight of a federal drug enforcement agent tailing him. He ducks into a diner while waiting for the gypsy to make the exchange, befriends a waitress, has a brief fling with her which ends badly, then heads back to the gypsy's for the drugs. But -- surprise, surprise -- the fed turns out to be another mobster, who resents Romeo encroaching on his territory, ices both Romeo and the gypsy, and makes off with the loot.
