Synopsis/Details
Jackson Mayple is an ordinary African American family man working hard for his family but he can't ignore his impending mid-life crisis forever. After loosing his job to a younger talent, he discovers that his wife and best friend have been conspiring against him, devising a plan to force him to accept and live out his mid-life crisis. Granted a few weeks away to live out his manhood fantasies, with conditions from his wife, Jackson takes a trip with his best friend only to have a falling out along the way triggering nothing but chaos. Facing his mid-life crisis alone, Jackson endures a tumultuous few days at an adrenaline junkie festival where all his worst nightmares await. With Jackson's best friend finally tracking him down, all hell breaks loose when the disgruntled friend suspects Jackson is cheating, promptly reporting back to his wife who, to Jackson's dismay, turns up at the festival to 'sort him out'. Winding up in a police holding cell, Jackson has plenty of time to ponder his situation as well as plenty of advice from his fellow inmates. With a fresh take on things and not much to go with it, Jackson returns to his wife and, through a mysterious friend from the festival, lands his dream job.
