Synopsis/Details
Mindy doesn’t just not want to be a bridesmaid. She’s furious that her friend Lynette is marrying her former boyfriend, Alexander. THE LOVE OF HER LIFE. Mindy’s life has gone off the rails — if she ever even saw the rails — and she doesn’t want to just stand by while Lynette steals her one chance at happiness. So while she and three other bridesmaids prep in the backroom of a church for Lynette’s wedding — every moment seeming like a dig at her failures in life — Mindy works up the courage to tell Lynette exactly what she thinks. And when she does, she doesn’t get quite the response she was looking for. Meanwhile, down the hall Alexander is getting ready with his groomsmen, including best man Martin who is obsessed with Mindy and is infuriated that Alexander has broken her heart. While he and the other groomsmen celebrate Alexander, Martin attempts to temper his rage. But in the end, in a valorous attempt at avenging Mindy’s honor, he unleashes his feelings, igniting a powder keg. Both groups collide in the chapel just as Lynette is supposed to walk down the aisle, leading to a melee of bridesmaids and groomsmen where secrets come out and resentments are aired. And hookups happen. But, hey, it’s not a wedding without a little drama, right?
