Synopsis/Details
Monster" is a horror screenplay that plunges Brandon, a 26-year-old man, into a nightmarish fight for survival. The story begins with Brandon escaping a basement, latching the door behind him, only to be confronted by Hewitt, an older man with a shotgun, who insists Brandon return to the basement to be "fed" to unseen entities. Brandon manages to incapacitate Hewitt and calls the police, believing he's safe. However, the arrival of Officer Tony and Officer Sam quickly turns into a new horror. Tony investigates the house, discovering a gruesome "feed room" in the basement with a decapitated, pregnant woman chained to the wall, and a horrifying creature with blacked-out eyes. Meanwhile, outside, Sam is brutally killed by a monstrous entity, and her body is thrown onto a newly arrived ambulance, whose driver and a State Trooper are also violently dispatched by three grotesque monsters. Brandon, still handcuffed, witnesses the massacre. He realizes he's been bitten and is infected, as black ooze mixes with his blood. In a desperate surge of adrenaline, he breaks free from his handcuffs and flees into the darkness, grabbing a fallen radio as the monsters disappear. The screenplay ends with Brandon sprinting down the driveway, a newly infected survivor on the run, as the screen cuts to black.
