Synopsis/Details
Set in the land of Canaan in the years of 1200 - 1000 BCE. A group of young boys is bulling a younger boy "Johnathan" because of his long hair and his being different. When Manoah sees the young boy crying he chases the other boys off and teaches him all about his famous strong son Samson. Manoah teaches the boy the struggles that Samson faced in being different from others, and how God has blessed him in his strength to lead his people. But the people didn't understand Samson and his gift from God and turned him over to the Philistines. Manoah teaches Johnathan, that you should always ask the Lord for guidance in your gifts to do his will. That being different is a gift from God. And going after your desires and getting with the wrong people will lead you to destruction.
