This is a micro budget feature. It all takes place in one location (a house) and has 8 total characters. Full logline: When a woman who is wildly unlucky with love gets word that her ex-boyfriend is engaged, she convinces a friend from her office to pose as her fake boyfriend for her old pal's big birthday bash weekend only to show up to the party and discover that her ex still loves her...and that the man posing as her fake boyfriend has very real feelings for her. Synopsis: Amy Patterson is going through a rough patch. She's 29, she has a dead end job, and her boyfriend just dumped her. Even worse, she's supposed to go to a big birthday bash that she knows her old college boyfriend will be attending. The same ex that is freshly engaged to a brain surgeon. In an attempt to save face, Amy recruits one of her work friends to come to the party with her posing as her boyfriend. But her fake boyfriend plan soon goes awry when she arrives at the party and discovers that her ex still has feelings for her....and that her fake boyfriend has very real feelings for her. Suddenly, Amy finds herself caught in an unexpected love triangle.
