Synopsis/Details
Rebel is the largely unknown true story about the special relationship that develops between a sixteen-rear-old girl named Sybil Ludington and a traumatized, rescued horse named Rebel. Sybil and Rebels emotional journey takes place during the American Revolution in the lawless, politically divided, bandit ridden, no-man's land of Eastern, New York, When, during a stormy night in 1777, Sybil rides Rebel through the night in an epic ride to raise the alarm that the "British are coming", just as Paul Revere did two years before.
