They work out of a small, but art filled adobe house in the exotic, historical and internationally renowned tourist town of Santa Fe, New Mexico. Jimmy Boy McElroy is a seasoned bad ass electric guitar playing and intuitive private investigator and his brilliant and beautiful daughter, Ash McElroy, just graduated the University of New Mexico with a degree in criminology. And together, they have teamed up to form their own PI firm known only as ‘Situations.’ Billionaires, drug barons, the wealthy and poor alike have been put on notice as this father and daughter PI team will be a force to be reckoned with in the tourist town known around the world as “the city different.” In the pilot episode a part time resident billionaire of Santa Fe hires the private investigation team of Jimmy Boy McElroy and his daughter, Ash McElroy, to be the ‘middle men’ in a twenty-five-million-dollar extortion scheme for the return of his kidnapped son. As Jimmy Boy tells the billionaire “We’ll do what we can but, just know, we don’t let the bad guys go scot free…” and that turns out to be a seriously big understatement.
