Synopsis/Details
Steve Harris, former fighter pilot, NSA operative and asset of the “New World Order” is sentenced to life in prison by a dark court for stealing secrets. They say it was for profit. Steve says it was to blow the whistle on the lies and treachery that happen behind the scenes. Howard Champlain, Steve's former handler and mentor, visits Steve in prison with an offer he cannot and will not be allowed to refuse: take a one-way suicide mission to the remotest desert known to man to find the Big Dog, a NWO asset who has gone silent, and get the Dog reporting again, or die in solitary confinement. Steve agrees to the mission. To get to the Big Dog, Steve will have to fly a modified sub-orbital plane and bounce into the landing zone inside a high-tech zorb ball. To prepare for this, Steve is sent to Area 51 for two months intense training. Upon completion of his training, Steve takes the long flight and crashes back to the surface in the zorb ball. He hikes two days through the rock strewn landscape enduring the below zero night cold to finally locate the Big Dog. Once there, Steve brushes off the solar panels and reactivates the Mars Rover Opportunity. (Note: Written so the viewer does not realize the Big Dog is the rover until the last page.) (Note: Cost? Maybe micro.)
