Synopsis/Details
"Sorrows of An Angel" is written along the lines of films such as Titanic and The Notebook. The story set in the early nineties, and follows young a ambitious journalist RICHARD YULE, who after a failed relationship and deprived of any real sense of achievement is at a cross roads in his life. Richard grabs an opportunity to report on the Balkan conflict with both hands. Arriving in Sarajevo it doesn't take Richard long to witness the horrors first hand, visibly shaken Richard is soon taken under the wing of a seasoned veteran American journalist BRAD. and his interpreter LUBO who have arranged an interview with the Zelic family who are situated on the front line. Richard is amazed by the unbreakable resolve of the family the aunt, uncle and their niece MARINA whose spirit, courage and attitude during the repulsion of war captivates Richard over time he gradually falls for Marina making him believe in love again however with the backdrop of a brutal war and witnessing bloodshed and tragedy first hand with the barrier of cultural differences.
