Strawberry Moon

Hunter Savage, an irresponsible 21 year old with a knack for finding trouble, is now forced into the position of a guardian over his 10 year old, naive twin sisters after their parents are both viciously eviscerated by a group of unknown, feral creatures. A sympathetic judge understands Hunter’s difficult situation and is willing to work with him and give him enough time to get his act together, under the condition that he is able to prove financial stability and a safe environment for his little sisters, under the threat of them eventually being sent to a foster family if he doesn’t. Hunter, now with no other choice, due to his love for his sisters, attempts to find and hold down jobs, but that temper of his just continues to find its way back and he can’t seem to learn how to let things slide. Meanwhile, a rich breadwinner with a heart of gold, Naomi Bartella, finds herself in a somewhat similar situation when she comes home late to find her husband and 6 year old daughter at the same fate of Hunter’s parents, with the exception of her not needing to worry about finances. Hunter and Naomi eventually cross paths at a carnival after Hunter attempts to save her from being assaulted by a group of Bloods, risking his own life in the process, and that’s when 3 mysterious young men, close to Hunter’s age, come to his aid. Over time, these 3 new men, despite seeming like trouble, befriend Hunter on one end, and on the other, Naomi and him form a bond together as he develops a crush on her. But things only get worse for everyone when Hunter finds himself at the wrong place at the wrong time, bitten and attacked by the werewolves, causing him to develop an intense craving for human flesh, just as things in his life start to go right. The only way to break the curse is to fight and kill the werewolf that bit him.
