In 1920s, Las Vegas Johnny Coscia is running a lucrative business and has it all. Until one day when a rival mafia boss Calvino Carloni, turns up at his clubhouse claiming Johnny rigged a fight costing him money. Johnny blows him off whilst unbeknownst to him that his precious wife who he loves more then anything in the world has been violently abducted and his best friend and driver mysteriously disappears. Weeks go by and and Johnny becomes more and more depressed that is wife is not coming home, until a witness comes forward who saw the abduction breathes new life in Johnny. After some investigating he is able to track down the man responsible for her abduction and holds his as his prisoner in the basement of his safe house torturing him for answers. When he thinks he gets some answers it only brings more confusion and more unanswered questions to the mystery of who really abducted his wife and who is Calvino Carloni. A special agent has been keeping a close eye on Johnny and sees a golden opportunity to bring him down by hitting him where it hurts the most, arresting him for the murder of beloved wife. Refusing to believe she is dead, Johnny continues his fight to find her alive in doing so he uncovers a web of lies even Johnny Coscia wasn't ready for.
