Synopsis/Details
MALLORY CHAMBERS has a problem. Her debut novel became a New York Times’ best seller. Great, right? Not when you hit a creative wall and enter the dreaded sophomore slump. Hoping to crash through said wall not unlike the Kool-Aid Man, Mallory leaves the city behind on a weekend Independence Day getaway with her boyfriend JAVIER. Stopping at a random yard sale and fireworks stand, Mallory eyes a cherry red typewriter she just knows will get the creative juices flowing once more. She’s right, but her newfound inspiration comes at a terrible price… Turns out the typewriter’s cursed and for every story Mary writes, someone must be gruesomely murdered by the dark spirit inhabiting the infernal device. Mallory soon discovers that the spirits is perfectly willing to murder its owner in its never-ending quest to fuel its bloodlust. Mallory Chambers has a problem and if she can’t solve it, it will be the death of her.

The Writer: Jesson Kinder

I've been writing teleplays, shorts, and feature length movie scripts over the years. Though I have yet to “break in”, I'm working hard to improve as a writer, still typing away and creating stories. Regardless of the genre, I love a good story with memorable characters. Go to bio
