Synopsis/Details
PETER SHEPHERD is the epitome of dependability, a native Londoner who grew up drawing inside the lines, crossing every “T”, and dotting every “I”. But somewhere along the way, he forgot to truly live.
Stuck in a lonely rut, Peter goes about his day as a bored banker, secretly pining for receptionist TORRIE and putting up with his brash boss COLIN. The day will seemingly end just like any other until Peter meets the enigmatic ALICE after boarding an ill-fated subway train that soon crashes mid destination.
Awakening several days later in the hospital, Peter discovers that he was the tragedy’s only survivor. Not listed among the deceased is Alice, who claims to be a vacationing reaper in need of a driver and offers the job to Peter.
Though Peter initially declines the gig, Alice eventually talks him into it and the unlikely duo embarks on a four day odyssey.
Along the way, Peter pesters Alice for answers about life, death, and God, and little by little learns to open up. But just as the journey nears its end, Peter discovers that Alice may not be who or what she seems and another tragedy awaits…
