David and Andrew have spent their entire lives striving to be the greatest in their scientific field – and they have taken no prisoners in their ambitious route to the top. When they are selected to carry out an exploration mission on a planet that could potentially be the future of the human race they see it as the pinnacle of their careers – but all is not what it seems. Through a series of flashbacks we see how David and Andrew have grown to become the best in their field - and how the ambition in their past could be the downfall of their future.
