Synopsis/Details
All 5 year old Abby has known is the bunker that she shares with her father - a loving man who only cares about her welfare. They try to live as normal a life as possible whilst the war ravages the world above them. Sometimes they forget where they are as they laugh and play - until the sound of guns and explosions interrupt from above. In their bunker they have peace, love and friendship. Unfortunately, every couple of months that dreaded time comes - the time when supplies become too low to live, and the man has to leave the bunker to collect crucial supplies. As Abby gets older this becomes more of an ordeal as she never knows if he will return. Every time the man prepares to leave the bunker he secretly makes a video tape in which he addresses the people in his life, past and present. This story follows one of these occasions.
