The wild, country town of Plymouth holds a secret.
Katy Walker has the perfect life working as a actor in the city and rampaging with her popular girlfriend, Jessica Sweet.
However, when she finds a tattered torch in her cellar, she begins to realise that things are not quite as they seem in the Walker family.
A dinner party leaves Katy with some startling questions about her past, and she sets off to sunny Plymouth to find some answers.
At first the people of Plymouth are funny and giving. She is intrigued by the curiously stable housekeeper, Molly Connor. However, after she introduces her to hard sugar, Katy slowly finds herself drawn into a web of impersonation, gluttony and perhaps, even mutilation.
Can Katy resist the charms of Molly Connor and uncover the secret of the tattered torch before it's too late, or will her demise become yet another Plymouth legend?
