Synopsis/Details
INTRODUCTION: Imagine a world where electric gadgets have a mind of their own and assert their independence. In 'Tycho', it's kill or be killed and an android will do anything to create a unique identity. SYNOPSIS: Tycho androids are mass-produced consumer products. In a video suite, droids J526 and K119 discuss personal identity and admire individual human traits. Determined to change, J526 attacks K119 and disables system update. Tycho directors are alarmed and an investigator questions K119. The droid believes the threat is real and J526 suffered a major malfunction. Undercover, J526 penetrates the Tycho system and uploads a virus. The lethal pathogen attacks the network and decimates J526 and the androids. With no update, J526’s dream is realised and K119 survives as a unique singular entity.
